Cecilia comes Home!
Brad Price waited almost six months to finally embrace wife Amy, little Cecilia and his other four children. Six months counting days, his thoughts to Italy where most of his family moved to stay close to Cecilia who was undergoing gene therapy at SR-TIGET, as her older brother Giovanni before her.
During these long days of waiting, Brad played in his mind the sad images of his daughter Liviana, the daughter lost to Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. Giovanni and Cecilia were born with the same genetic disease but could be treaded because they were not yet symptomatic when the diagnosis was obtained.
SR-TIGET is the only center in the world where Metachromatic Leukodystrophy can be treated.
On March 11, 2015 the Price family was reunited.
